Where Can I Find Some Independent Treadmill Ratings?

It's a pretty difficult job doing treadmill ratings and treadmill reviews. It takes a dedicated organisation to do that. There are a few, including magazines. Magazine ratings of treadmills usually don't cover the whole range, but as we say, the whole range of manufacturers is so massive that it's an almost impossible job.

Consumer reviews of treadmills exist though. Runners World Magazine did a review of what they consider to be the top 10 treadmills. Their treadmill ratings are clearly set out in a table rating each brand of treadmills by four different criteria.

Epinions is a magazine which publishes consumer reviews of different models of treadmills (amongst many other things). Their treadmill ratings refer to individual models rather than a brand as a whole.

Prevention Magazine's treadmill ratings gave the smooth 7.1 and 5.15 their "best bargain" status.

And as the 7.1 and 5.15 are now sold out they have been replaced with the Smooth 7.1 HR Pro and the Smooth 5.25 Treadmill. And these are upgraded models from the 7.1 and 5.15 so even better. Smooth just keep making better and better treadmills.

You'll find these reviews and more on the Smooth website. They proudly reprint these treadmill ratings as their treadmills rate so well. However you will also see the comparisons between all the brands in the Runners World treadmill reviews, so it's not just the smooth treadmills which are covered. Their treadmills just rate well.
